Coffee&Cake@Cafe Norden

It’s our first morning in Copenhagen and, after learning to use the S-tog (urban train) and having a pleasant walk around the King’s Garden, it’s time for coffee & cake.

Café Norden is an Art Deco styled cafe situated in the prime location of Amagertorv Square. The décor is splendid and the cakes look fantastic. We decide to share a piece of their gulerodskage (carrot cake). It is beautiful and the coffee is great.

I have this horrible feeling that there may be an awful lot more coffee drinking and cake eating while we are in Denmark.

Wade and Rock are a UK based couple who love good food and wildlife and love travelling to find it. Wade does most, but not all, of the writing and the photography. Rock shares the eating experience and tells Wade when planned posts fall short on sense or style or taste. In the opinion of Wade (and many of our friends) she is also a fabulous baker. WadeandRockandFood mainly consists of reviews of restaurants and pubs we have recently visited. WadeandRockandWildlife and WadeandRockandPlaces are mostly photoblogs.
