Wade and Rock are a UK based couple who love good food and wildlife and love travelling to find it. Wade does most, but not all, of the writing and the photography. Rock shares the eating experience and tells Wade when planned posts fall short on sense or style or taste. In the opinion of Wade (and many of our friends) she is also a fabulous baker.

We also love music, art, theatre, film, beer, wine, whisky…..

WadeandRockandFood mainly consists of reviews of restaurants and pubs we have recently visited.

WadeandRockandWildlife is a wildlife photoblog. Birds and other wildlife from around the world.

WadeandRockandPlaces is a travel photoblog.  We have been very fortunate and travelled from the northern tip of Norway to the southern tip of Argentina, from the west coast of North America to the east coast of New Zealand.

  1. Belated hello from Türkiye… just wanted to say “thank you”, I appreciate your recent ‘follow’, knowing how many interesting and entertaining blogs there are out there. It’s been a while I know, but a storm knocked out our village internet and phone, hence the delay!

Blogging since June 2013, my little corner of the world tries to offer an eclectic smattering of posts, from basic amateur photography, to sharing my travel adventures over the decades, as well as day-to-day happenings here on our fruit farm in southern Turkey. I also throw in a few of my observations on life and lighter-hearted stuff for good measure.

You are more than welcome to have a look around, stay a while and have a trawl through my collection. There are plenty of categories within the drop-down menus to help in said digging process.

Hope you have a great day…

    1. Hi Spike, sorry for taking so long to reply. I saw your message weeks ago but then became distracted by other things and forgot to get back to you. Apologies again.

We love some of your stuff and will keep following. We spend most of our time on the foodblog but I really enjoy sharing some of our snaps of wildlife and places.

Have a great day yourself – even if the wish has been a little slow in getting to you!

  2. Hi, just had a wander round to see why you might be kind enough to take an interest in a small island in the N Bahamas. Wildlife. That must be it. But can’t do brown bears (or many mammals at all for that matter). Can do Dorset though! RH
